Audience

Of course! While geared towards parents, this learning series is open to any grown person in a familial role to a trans, nonbinary, or gender expansive young person. We’re thrilled you’re interested in learning more!
-
It is our deepest hope that the content of all 4 sessions proves enlightening and informational for all participants. It is also reasonable that as young folks find and connect with others in the trans community, they may have peers who identify as such and it could prove helpful to know more about them.
-
In short, no. While we are so excited you are open to and interested in learning more, we are keeping these sessions closed to personal relationships of a familial nature. Please do sign up for our newsletter or reach out to Nat, though, to discuss future professional development opportunities that might interest you.

That totally makes sense! Part of our goal in closing these sessions to the specific audience we have is to create a learning environment where everyone feels safe and supported enough to ask for what they need from the space - including asking whatever questions they may have as the learning progresses.
-
We sure hope so! As we often remind ourselves and others - identity development is something that is always in process as we never stop learning more about the world and how we fit into it. We also recognize that identity discovery isn’t neat and linear and so our loved ones might try on different language or presentations before finding what fits best for them.
-
We have designed the sessions in this series to be a support to folks no matter the age or developmental stage of their child. As mentioned above, we believe identity formation is a lifelong process and, thus, could always change or introduce new language, gender frameworks, ideas for transition, etc.
